This is a set of 4 Edwardian travel kit, vanity kit or dressing kit items in glass and chrome dating 1900-1910. They came from an old shagreen case with moire’ silk lining that had totally deteriorated with the bristle less brushes and shattered small mirror and had to be discarded.

The items are:

chrome plated steel scissors measuring 3.5 inches long with plating loss

a chromium plated 2 piece soap box measuring 1.25 inches high by 3.25 inches long by 2.25. inches wide with well fitting friction lid and very good interior

a hair pin bottle or jar of chromium plate, 6 inch long by 1.5 inch in diameter beveled and reeded cylinder cut glass bottle with a tightly fitting friction fit chrome lid

and a beveled glass perfume bottle measuring 4 inches long by 1.75 inches wide by 1.25 inches deep with a threaded screw chrome top.

All pieces are unmarked and are in very good to excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or major scratches and only plating loss on the scissors
